Primary Day is August 11, but you can vote starting...now! Get a sample ballot and find your polling place at vote.vermont.gov. Have a question? Check https://www.burlingtonvt.gov/Elections for the straight scoop. Did you know that

Voters who are unable to get to their polling place, due to illness or disability, may contact the Clerk's office to request curbside voting at their polling place, electronic ballot delivery, or home ballot delivery by Justices of the Peace.
State primary ballots WILL NOT automatically be mailed out to all voters. If you would like to request this ballot be mailed to you, please request one online at https://vote.vermont.gov/ or call the City Clerk’s office at (802) 865-7000.
Not registered? You can register right at the polls on Election Day.

Outside the polls in parking lots and near entrances for voting

In preparation for the possibility that federal agents will be present near or at the polls, the League of Women Voters of Vermont is searching for volunteers to serve as poll observers and coordinators across the state. No specific qualifications for either position, but you should be comfortable with texting. We will cover your safety and legal rights during the training, which will be by Zoom on:

Thursday, September 3rd from 6:30 to 8:00 pm or
Wednesday, September 9th from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
